Ever since my friends started watching the Big Bang Theory, they started calling me ‘Sheldon’ because I’m, I’ll admit, somewhat finicky. This was amplified when they discovered the character’s love for all things related to trains. Though I can’t boast the same level of confidence when it comes to train trivia as Sheldon, I do adore them and believe that they are the only way to properly travel. Trains are, by far, the most comfortable and have the most personality. This, of course, does not apply to the NYC subway or the professionally sardine-packed cars in some Asian countries.

I’ve created this blog because I wanted to share my love for traveling the world and trains in general, models included. I hope you will share at least some of my passion as we explore train traveling through the US, Europe, and even your living room floor.
